EUR pallets and one-way pallets are the two most common pallet types on the Hungarian market. Although both are used for palletized handling, their use cases, prices and lifespans differ significantly.
EUR pallet
- Size: standard 1200 × 800 mm
- Lifespan: designed for repeated use, repairable
- Weight: 20–25 kg
- Load capacity: 1500 kg static load
- Use: warehousing, international transport, exchangeable system
- Price: higher, but pays off in the long term
One-way pallet
- Size: variable (typical sizes: 80×120 cm, 100×120 cm); custom sizes are also available through partner production
- Lifespan: for single use or a few uses
- Load capacity: 500–1200 kg, depending on size (80×120: 500–1000 kg, 100×120: 700–1200 kg)
- Use: export, one-off transport, where pallet exchange is not needed
- Price: significantly cheaper per unit
Which should you choose?
Choose an EUR pallet if you ship regularly, store goods, or work with international partners.
Choose a one-way pallet if you need it for one-off export, are cost-sensitive, or the pallet will not come back.
