2. Purpose of this notice

This notice explains what personal data we process when you use traderebellion.hu, for what purposes, on what legal basis and for how long. We process personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the applicable Hungarian laws.

Depending on the website function used, we may process the following data:

  • billing and / or delivery address
  • company name and tax number in case of business orders or quote requests
  • order or quote request content, notes, requested quantities and preferred currency
  • technical data such as IP address, browser and device information, timestamps, debugging and security log data

4. Purposes and legal bases of processing

4.1 Contact and quote requests

If you request a quote, submit a contact form or send an individual enquiry, we process the data provided in order to prepare the quote, contact you and coordinate the request.

Legal basis: steps taken at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract, and the controller's legitimate interest in business communication.

4.2 Order processing

When you place an online order, we process the data provided in order to process, confirm and fulfil the order, issue invoices and organise pickup or delivery where applicable.

4.3 Invoicing and legal obligations

Data related to invoicing is processed to comply with accounting and tax law obligations.

4.4 Customer service and complaints

Data necessary for handling questions, claims and complaints is processed in order to investigate, document and answer the matter.

We may process technical data and security logs to ensure secure operation of the website, protect forms, troubleshoot errors, prevent overload and detect or prevent abuse.

5. Source of data

Most data is provided directly by you through website forms, when placing an order, by email, by phone or during personal communication. Technical data may be automatically transmitted by your browser, device and the web infrastructure during website use.

  • Quote requests and contact enquiries: up to 12 months, or as long as justified by closing the matter.
  • Order data: for the time necessary to perform the contract and for the limitation period of related disputes.
  • Accounting records: for the period required by accounting laws.
  • Complaint handling data: until the end of the applicable statutory retention period.
  • Technical and security logs: for the period necessary for operation, troubleshooting and abuse prevention.

9. Automated decision-making and profiling

The controller does not perform automated decision-making or profiling through the website that would have legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affect you.

  • request rectification of inaccurate data,
